
Commercial real estate provides a great long-term opportunity for real estate investors who have the capital and will take time to educate themselves about the process to reap above average returns. Investing in commercial real estate shouldn’t been done hastily, but if an investor invests carefully, he/she can expect to be rewarded handsomely.
In this column, we will explore the opportunities, pitfalls, rewards, and common mistakes made by commercial real estate investors. We will write about our commercial real estate experiences, both past and present, and hopefully you will find some very practical information that you can use in your own investing activities. Future posts will include topics such as identifying commercial properties, cap rates, financing, deal negotiating, seller financing (when to accept it and when to provide it) and many other relevant topics.
If you have questions about topics that interest you, please don’t hesitate to suggest them. We invite feedback and input from you as we write. Because we are active real estate investors and have limited time to write, you can look for our new posts on Wednesday or Thursday of every week. Look for our first “on topic” post next week.
