Soon after being cleared on child molestation charges, in 2005 Michael Jackson left the country leaving his 3,000 acre estate behind.  Jackson told many, including his Father,  that he would never live in the United States again.  He immediately left the country after the trial, and  has not been still for long since. 

With his star power, every move, including his residential moves, make the news.  Let’s take a quick and fun look at Michael Jackson’s latest moves:

Neverland Ranch

Michael purchased this home at 5225 Figueroa Mountain Rd, Los Olivos, CA 93441 almost twenty years ago in 1988, making it seem old by today’s  Hollywood standards. Just under 3,000 acres (yes, 3,000 acres), this property feature the singer’s famed amusement park and a zoo, and is surrounded by vineyards. Michael vacated this home,  after being charged with child molestation, and having the home searched. 

In June of 2005, after being  acquitted and cleared of all charges of child molestation, Mr. Jackson took off for Bahrain and later Dubai.  There were rumors of a land purchase in Bahrain  that which remain unconfirmed. Other reports say that Michael and his family were guests, and did not rent, or purchase property.

Europe

One year later, in June of 2006, Michael’s spokesperson formally announced that the singer would be moving to Europe, making the country his primary residence while still “maintaining a residence” in Bahrain.  There was no confirmation of his exact location, until he landed in the US at the end of 2006.

Las Vegas

By the end of 2006, rumors surfaced that Jackson was arriving in  Las Vegas.  He left Europe, where he reportedly lived in an  Ireland castle. It was rumored that he was going to star in a headliner show in Vegas, a move that undoubtedly would have provided some income and helped kick start a second chance career. Now, it’s reported that Michael Jackson is on the move once again.

Michael Jackson is on the move again, reportedly with a move within the United States. His new home is likely to be on the East Coast, in Virginia a move which would bring him closer to his advisors. 

It seems Michael hasn’t quite been the same since his trial.  Will he make music again?  Perform those dance moves?
