
As devestating as the damage to the housing, and community of New Orleans is, it seems the money allocated by the government to restore the homes in the community was used long ago. Recently, Congress approved another round of funding that will help restore homes in the area. What is sad is that two years after the storm, insurance settlements still haven’t been paid, and aid for the region isn’t as popular. This, leaving many neighborhoods desolate and empty.
